Will the servers be moderated?
We understand the need for moderation in case of potenial cheaters, owners of UHS servers can choose to set an admin password which will allow users with the password to moderate in game. Known cheaters (with proof) will be banned from the community altogether.
What's the difference between Infrastructure and Ad-Hoc multiplayer?
Infrastructure and Ad-Hoc are different ways to play MOHH multiplayer, here's quick comparison:
Infrastructure Mode:
🔸Connects players worldwide through the internet
🔸Supports up to 32 players per server
🔸Recently revived in 2024 through our project
🔸Requires connection to our master server
Ad-Hoc Mode:
🔸Local wireless connection between nearby PSP systems
🔸Limited to 7 players maximum
🔸Has always remained playable
🔸Was the only multiplayer option from 2011-2024 after EA's servers closed
This revival project restores the full Infrastructure experience, bringing back worldwide multiplayer for the first time since August 2011.
I forgot my password! is there a way to reset?
Yes, account recovery is available
Will my old account be restored?
No, we don't have access to EA's original database. All players start fresh with new accounts.
Are stats tracked?
Yes, including leaderboards and detailed battle reports. Must play at least 1 second in a ranked game to appear on leaderboards.
Is the server region locked?
No, servers are currently worldwide. Region locking may be implemented based on community needs.
